Swissôtel Clarke Quay

Moi’s company held our annual dinner and dance at the ballroom in the hotel, dinner for that night’s function was international buffet style.

Food tasted OK but moi only went for 1 round as moi aleady had homecooked dinner (all moi’s fav dishes, egg soup, fried omelette with onions and steamed fish) at home around 4pm, if not how to tahan until 8pm … ><

Bangkok Day 6: Brunch @ Suvarnabhumi airport

Last day in Bangkok, we checked in quite early and went to have our breakfast/lunch at one of the Thai restaurants in the transit area, last chance to have authentic Thai food liao lor…

Tom yum goong with kway teow – moi really really lurve the tom yum goong there as it’s not as sour as the ones in Singapore!  Why must the Singapore version be so sour???

Green curry – yummylicious :)

Thai fried noodles – moi lurves the raw sugar and peanuts that always accompanies this dish at the side of the plate, unlike our char kway teow, Thai’s fried noodles are sweeter and not as wet, yummy!

Bangkok Day 5: Lunch @ Yakiniku Giants Buffet

Moi read about this place from some Japanese guide of Bangkok and since Carnivore Ling being carnivorous, welcomed the idea for yakiniku as well, we walked 2km from Phrom Phong BTS station to this place located at Citi Resort (Sukhumvit Soi 39)…our advice is to take a taxi from Phrom Phong BTS station

All you can eat yakiniku buffet at THB 450 per pax (limited to 2 hours only)

Bangkok Day 4: Dinner, room service

Perhaps still full from the afternoon tea, we did not feel hungry after shopping at Suan Lum and went back to hotel without any takeaway food tinking we could skip dinner.

But after shower, our stomachs rumbled…so moi tried to fill moi stomach with the yummy waffles bought from MBK (very hard and crisp, not soft even if you consume hours later)

But still not substantial enough and moi couldn’t fall asleep on an “empty” stomach haha so had to order room service :)

Carnivore Ling’s Tom Yum Goong – very very very yummy!!

Moi’s fried rice – very very very very yummy!! They even took the trouble to carve the lime!

Bangkok Day 4: Afternoon tea at L’space, Siam Paragon

After MBK, we went over to Siam Paragon again to walk walk and rest our tired feet at another cafe by Mandarin Oriental Hotel.

Afternoon tea in 3 tiers tray – so tai tai :)
