Shalimar Palace @ Singapore Flyer

It’s Indian feast for toi and moi again, long time since we last had an Indian meal.

Read some good reviews about this place so moi chose this place instead of our usual Gayatri at Little India.

Vegetable cutlet – did they specially created this heart-shaped cutlet for us? keke

Pappadum dipped in mint chutney sauce – the sauce is so wonderfully yummy we all lurve it

Vegetable Jalfrezi – potatoes and assorted vegetables in curry (so delicious!!)

Gobi manchurian – cauliflower done in oriental style (yum yum yummy!!)

Hot chai tea – this one so so only

Moi, princess mama and carnivore ling all took leave to enjoy afternoon tea

Look at the pretty teapot and tea cup

They are famous for their scones and it was indeed delicious! With a cake-like texture inside.

The mango with shrimps croissant is also very yummy (bottom right)

Hot savouries like potato croquette, vietnamese spring roll and fried prawn was also served.  All very yummy!

Tze Char @ Keong Saik Street, opp G Hotel(再訪)

Steps prince and moi had dinner again here before our dance classes.

We tried out the sweet and sour pork this time – yum

This is one of the places where Toi first brought moi for feasting dates so it’s quite special always looking forward to eat here, moreover the food is yummy.

This particular day, we ordered these for dinner,

Salted fish fried rice

Tofu with egg

Fried ee-mee

All so yum yum

Chongqing Hotpot @ Suntec

Carnivore Ling, Princess mama and moi went for a 麻辣火锅 feast

Half spicy and half non-spicy soup (the non-spicy soup was really sweet and yummy)

Steamboat buffet where you can choose from this whole list of items

If you opt for the buffet, they will also serve one serving of these items to you,

Fried mantou, water chestnut cake, fried carrot cake

They used to be from Blanco Court, then shifted to China Square food court, now they are located at Tanjong Pagar MRT station.

Tze char @ Keong Saik Street, opp G Hotel

Steps Prince, ah oi and moi wanted to try out this little cafe along keong saik street but its kitchen closes at 1830hrs…so zannen no luck, we settled for tze char instead then.

Fish soup – so so nia

Fuyong egg – yummy!

Their speciality tofu with cai por – yummy!

Botak Jones @ Bedok (& the vegetarian tze char next to it…)

We wanted to celebrate Toi’s mummy birthday, all the yummy tze chars around Bedok are fully booked on Deepavali, after traveling to 2 places, we were sian already and just settled for the vegetarian tze char located at the same coffeeshop as Botak Jones.

Spicy fries – very very yummy!!

Fish and chips – tastes good

Steak – tastes good as well

Could only manage to snap 2 of the 6 dishes from the vegetarian tze char,

Expensive vegetarian tze char – 6 dishes for 89 bucks!

Watami @ Ion Orchard

Finally got to try out this place with carnivore ling and toi.

Wonder what all the hype and loooong queues are about…not yummy at all one! We will not go back again…

Taipei one yummier!

Green tea shake – too 奶奶 liao…

Sapporo miso ramen – passable

Tsukune kushi – this tastes weird…tsukune supposed to be firm but this one here, the meat are breaking away from the kushi and worst still, it is very watery inside…so mi-mi…so not yummy

Tompei yaki – ok la very 勉强的 haha

Teba kushi – イマイチ

Hiroshima-fu okonomiyaki – nay, so dry inside

Gyoza – too much 韭菜 inside liao, the taste overpowering everything else

Vegetable cold ramen – can do, but not much taste

But have to commend them for their good and flexible service.  The original hot choco with brownie comes with 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream but we requested them to change to a scoop of mango and chocolate ice cream instead and request was granted heehee, not every restaurant provides this kind of service tho’.  And service staff was all smiles all the way.

Chicken chop @ Pearl’s Centre

Steps prince and moi switched salsa school liao.  Before classes, steps prince brought moi to this little cafe tucked away in one corner of Pearl’s Centre…before this, moi has never been to Pearl’s centre before…

Not very yummy…ok only
