Chiang Mai Palace – Far East Square

We celebrated one of our colleague’s birthday at this Thai restaurant in Far east square.  They have another outlet at the nearby China square central as well.

The set lunches was really value for money because once you order a main dish, all you need to do is add S$3.90 and you can enjoy your choice of soup, salad, side dish and dessert!!

Baking workshop – Brownie & pizza

Moi enrolled for the workshop again, this week’s recipe was Triple choc brownie & curry chicken pizza.

Ma famille had nothing but praises for them :)

Nihon Mura @ EHub!

All of their 回転寿司 only costs S$0.90!!  Unbelievable and imagine devouring 20 plates of sushi will only set you back under S$20!!

There wasn’t much vegetarian choices for Toi and Moi, food was also so-so only.

Sketches – Bugis Junction

After a tiring day at our 1st (and last) flea, Carnivore Ling and Moi were totally exhausted and drained from the sun and the ridiculous humidity the whole day…arghhhh

We were dying for aircon haha and since it being on V-day, most of the eating places in Bugis were packed, lucky Sketches wasn’t that packed.

Baking workshop – Strawberry mousse cake + Peach tart

Moi was so excited about this baking workshop ever since signing up for it 2 weeks ago.

Look!  Moi did this moi-self :) such a sense of achievement…

Menya Shinchan

As Moi and Toi SHARED the claypot rice together, we were hungry soon and walked all the way from Chinatown to Robertson Quay for ramen!  More hungry!! Haha.

We ordered the Shoyu ramen with scorched sesame, very very yummy, but oily tho’.

Toi and Moi lurves the claypot rice here! :) Best in Singapore!

On this occasion, we realized that not only is the food yummy, but the service is great as well!

Our claypot rice came and we found that the rice wasn’t really well cooked yet, so we requested them to cook it further for us again, but they return moments later with a new pot of rice for us!!

We were stunned and what’s more, the owners came over twice to apologize to us, wow better customer service than most of those arty farty restaurants and cafes in town!!

M Hotel – Steamboat buffet

We were invited for hotel inspection and treated to their famous Steamboat Buffet after that  :)

There were quite a number of us so we had to split into 2 tables, one table opted for the Laska soup + chicken soup, while moi’s table chose the Tom yum soup + chicken soup.

My Type Restaurant – Goldenshoe carpark

Moi and colleagues tried out this restaurant which serves food according to your blood type.

They have different menus for different blood type groups…
