Moi went out for departmental lunch at Patara Thai, Tanglin Mall branch.

Set lunch at S$35++/head

Seafood fried rice (so so yummy!!) with Thai fish cake and prawn cakes

Very spicy tom yam soup

Desserts was served buffet-style with a wide variety!

But moi too full liao, only could managed these

So pretty!!

It’s really very very yummy

Fullerton Hotel Afternoon Tea

Misty et famille, Ste and Moi enjoyed English afternoon tea served on a 3-tier tray at The Courtyard. Sandwiches on the 1st tier

Muffins and scones on the 2nd tier

Cranberry jam, butter and citrus-like jam

Moi lurves the butter, very very good!

This orange muffin is so so yummy!

Creme brulee also yummy

Actually everything is so yummy!!

Variety was limited to these 11 only…but they will keep replenishing your favorites

That’s why mari de Misty said that the afternoon tea in Rose Veranda, Shangri-La hotel is still the best as they have lots more choices ranging from mee siam to sushi with no limits on any of their speciality tea/coffee selection.

At Fullerton’s you can only have 2 servings from their speciality drinks menu.

Moi and colleagues tried out the Vietnamese cafe near Lau Pa Sat.

Didn’t know Vietnamese serves Achar as sides too…

We shared the mixed platter with Vietnamese spring roll, sugarcane prawn etc

Miharu Ramen 美春ラーメン

Toi and Moi went to try out their ramen as Toi’s boss say it’s the best in Singapore.

Toi’s Tokusen Miso ramen with additional ramen and additional topping of egg

Soup is oily and salty with a tinge of sweetness

Moi’s Miso Tonkotsu with additional topping of corn

Very very very very oily and salty

Too much of that supa oily and supa salty soup makes us sick (jier lat)

We will stick with Menya Shinchan…

When can we ever get the same yummy quality ramen like Osaka’s in our own tropical island country?

Steps Prince and Moi finally made it there for dinner.

We were actually supposed to dine there around 2 months ago, but we had to postpone the trip twice and nearly for the third time that Moi was seriously doubting whether we will ever get to eat there haha.

When one is in Ikea, even though you just had your meal and your stomach’s still full, the beckon of the yummy Ikea cafe food is just too strong to resist haha.
